Eastcott Weekend Workshops
14-15 July and 22-23 September
Two weekend workshops where we'll work on accessing earth energy and solar energy to increase personal chi. We'll use various chi gung exercises, meditations and work outdoors.
At the July weekend I will introduce the primary 'conscious connection' that I usually only use in private sessions for healing and in developing individual consciousness. If there's time we will start to investigate the nature of change and how consciousness evolves.
During the September workshop we will take the same process a bit further to look at the inhibitions that we impose on ourselves and how to consciously overcome them or adapt to inevitable change. We will investigate the cycles of change which affect us through what I call the dynamic of ‘fix and flux’.
A chi gung practice we can use to examine these themes is The Marriage of Heaven and Earth (from Bruce Frantzis). I may teach this set at Eastcott in July/September, and am considering focusing on it at a third Eastcott workshop - perhaps just for a day - in November. (Details to be announced).
Each workshop will be a complete experience and you don’t have to have been in July to attend in September or November. But anyone who comes to all these Eastcott events will in effect be taking an ongoing course. (This plan substitutes for the four or five day chi gung retreat at Eastcott which I previously announced would take place in November.)
Eastcott Barn is a small retreat centre in the village of Sheldon, tucked away in the Blackdown Hills in East Devon.
We start with registration on Saturday morning 9.30-10.00 and finish with supper on Sunday evening.
Course Fees £120 per weekend.
Accommodation is at Eastcott Barn or in local bed and breakfast. Charges for one overnight stay, all meals and use of the premises are £95.
To reserve place email Jenny at Eastcott: firstname.lastname@example.org
You can turn a weekend workshop into a longer retreat by staying more than one night. I will include a private session on Friday or on Monday for anyone who wants to dedicate more time for themselves.
Eastcott is a peaceful place, poised on the side of a Devon valley. At my Eastcott events you can take a path down into yourself and discover new energy and personal resources. It's not just about learning some chi gung movements. You benefit from giving more time to the process.
